School Teacher responses to our move..

(Bruce's Speech teacher)
Thank you for letting me know, Mr. Campet actually told me last week and I was so disappointed. I wish you and your family all the best on your next adventure....

....I have also enjoyed getting to know Linda when I visit the preschool class and I know they will miss her terribly as well, she has done wonders with some of our students.

Thank you and good luck,
Beth B.

When I got your email about Linda I cried and cried. My husband couldn't figure out what was wrong with me. I thought, "Not Linda." I am so sad. She will be missed. Denise

I am so sad :(

Thank you for letting me know – it was truly a pleasure watching Bruce grow into such a great student – I feel blessed to have had him as a student. Please let me know if there is anything I can do. Mat

We're Moving! - The Dates

The entire family will fly out to California on:
Saturday, December 12th

This is much sooner than we anticipated, but we really want the kids to be able to start school on Monday, January 4th in California. Linda will actually be starting Kindergarten because of the cut off dates there. Robert will turn around and fly back to DC on Sunday, December 13th to finish off his last week of work. His dad will fly out later that week and the two of them will drive our van across the country on Friday, December 18th. All of the big bosses are in the process of deciding whether or not they'll let Robert begin work in California on Monday, January 4th. We're hoping this is decided today. If not, he will work in DC part of the week and fly back to CA on the weekends. We're really hoping we can stay out in CA together.
That's the latest!

JUST IN...I JUST TALKED TO ROBERT AND ALL BOSSES HAVE SIGNED AND APPROVED HIS JANUARY 4TH START DATE! WHAT A BLESSING.

Go Redskins!

Bruce and Robert had their last soccer game of the season this afternoon. They won by a landslide...although they don't technically keep score. Bruce said it was, "like 2 to 20!" :) Bruce scored 2 goals today. Robert is relieved that the season is over. Bruce was very excited to get a trophy.

Trick Or Treat!!

We had a lot of fun trick or treating and the kids got tons of candy. It was raining on us most of the time, but nothing could stop us! Claire tried to keep up with the kids and managed to make it up to a few doors to grab some candy.

Preschool Pumpkin Patch Party!

Each of the girls got a ride in the wagon.
Claire posing on the hay.
The girls decorating and eating sugar cookies in Linda's classroom.
They had a little kids pool full of leaves at the bottom of the playground slide.
Jane, the Scarecrow. She loved every second of being "at school".

What's a Halloween party without a bean bag toss?? Jane had to wear an old Minnie Mouse costume because witch costumes were not allowed.

Linda decorating her pumpkin. You should've seen me trying to walk across the parking lot afterward with the 3 girls and two pumpkins covered in wet paint.

Singing songs in the classroom. Linda is good buddies with the little boy, Ishmael, on the right.

The girls eating their treats. I really like this picture.
Later that evening the entire family went to a party at our church. I was one tired Mom by the end of the day. It was worth all of the work though. The kids had so much fun. Thanks for all the work you did on holidays mom!! I really appreciate it now that it is my turn.
