Claire is all ready to go to church. Bruce, however, can't find his shoes. :)
Jane smelling our flowers.
This is the SBA office in Santa Ana, where Robert works. The building looks very similar to the DC office. However, the surrounding area and people couldn't be more different.
Linda's class does a presentation each month. This month was on saving the earth. Linda's line was, " I can give my old toys to my friends or to the Goodwill." I love going to her presentations. I especially love when her teacher says, "Quiet on the set!" :)

Corndog
If you know Bruce, you know that he LOVES a good corndog. We went on a trip to visit Robert's grandmother yesterday. On the trip Bruce's love of corndogs came up. At lunch Robert tells Bruce, "When you turn 16 I'm going to get you a car with a license plate that says, CORNDOG." That sounded great to Bruce who by the way was eating mini corndogs for lunch. So, we're on the freeway on the way back to Oceanside when Robert yells, "KaDee, look at that license plate!" Sure enough we see a California CORNDOG license plate. What are the odds? :) We caught up to the car and got a picture.

A bit about each of us...
Robert- Loves driving to work now that he has a car(Ford Fusion). At home at 4:20 Mon.- Thurs. and home at 3:50 on Fridays. Has every other Friday off.
Bruce- Bye-Bye Booster seat! Bruce is out of his booster, except when he is in cars with extra high seatbelts. CA only requires them for 5 and younger opposed to VA which was 7 and younger. 2 teeth gone, 2 teeth loose. He is growing up.
Linda- Started cheerleading class last Friday.(pictures to come soon) To say she was excited about it would be an understatement. She'll go once a week for ten weeks. She loves her new pom poms. Never thought I'd be a Cheer Mom. :)
Jane- Just took blood & urine tests to make sure her medication isn't affecting her liver, we should find out soon. Starting to get over the drowsiness her medication causes. Went to her first primary activity today.
Claire- Talking a lot now. Getting more comfortable in Nursery, she's fine as long as they keep giving her fruit snacks. :) Going potty in the toilet in the mornings when she wakes up. May is potty training month.
KaDee- Not much new. Organizing, Cleaning, Cooking, Driving kids around...the usual. Love my new ride(Ford Flex). Calling at church is easy and I really am enjoying it.

Some Pictures from Easter
The day before Easter the kids colored Easter eggs in the backyard.
We had to do it when Claire was napping because she would just have had so much fun dying herself for Easter. :)
This year, the Easter Bunny brought Easter Buckets instead of baskets. The kids were so excited to try them out at the beach!! We actually tried them out today and the kids had so much fun.
Bruce was very tired on Easter morning but wrapped himself up in his blanket and enjoyed his candy anyway.
Linda & Jane looking at all of their treats. Linda was the most excited of all the kids this Easter. She kept saying, "I can't believe I got my own Easter basket!".

Earthquake
There was a 7.2 earthquake in Baja Mexico. Baja is less than an hour away from where we live. We were watching tv with my sister and her boyfriend when my sister said, "Is that an earthquake?" Then it really started rocking back and forth. We grabbed the kids and ran outside, along with all of our neighborhood. It continued while we were outside. It seemed to be minutes. Linda and Bruce got really scared. We were actually all pretty nervous because it just seemed to go on so long. I was nervous that the cement would crack.(This New Mexican girl is not used to earthquakes) Robert has lived in California most all his life and has never felt one that lasted so long. Oceanside usually doesn't feel too many earthquakes. My mom called from Palm Desert, CA which is about 120miles away from us and she felt it as well. Crazy.
All is well though and we are wondering if we'll feel any aftershocks.

The Three Little Pigs
This is Bruce's play. Sorry for the poor video quality. I was using Bruce's camera to record it. Atleast it gives you an idea of how it was. He is the 1st Little Pig. He's the first pig out and has the black hat on and his shirt looks like it has suspenders on it.. He builds his house on the right of the stage.
