Linda got braces on last month. Right now she only has 6 on the top. In about 5 months she'll get a couple more and a kind of hinge piece in the back on both sides. (we're not looking forward to that) After that she'll get the hinges removed and get a full set of braces on top and bottom for the remainder of the time. The Orthodontist thinks about 2 years. Her bottom teeth aren't bad at all. She has a major overbite on top apparently but you don't notice because most of her front teeth are pushed back. It took a week to adjust to the poking and the sore teeth but she's doing really great with them now. We opted for clear because what's $200 when you're already paying $5000!! They look really good.

Jane & Claire
Jane lost her last baby tooth! It's so weird that the kids are getting so old. Now the tooth fairy will only come for Claire in the future.
Claire has been asking to get her ears pierced for a few months now. We had to wait until after soccer season. She didn't even shed a tear and has done great with them. She was excited about getting pink butterflies.
Christmas Break 2016
The kids got 3 weeks off of school for Christmas! It felt like a summer and I was ready for them to move on to the next grade when they returned. :)
We had a fun time. Mostly the kids were just so happy to be home and to sleep in.
We did go to Sea World. It was a rainy day so that kept the crowds away. We used the tickets I won on the radio. We were happy to see the Shamu and dolphin shows before Sea World is forced to change everything and it'll be more like an aquarium.
The other big events were Christmas Eve and Christmas day. We had Christmas Eve in Rainbow, CA at Grandma and Grandpa's house. We had a talent show(Linda played violin, Jane played piano), white elephant, and a great dinner.
I didn't really get many Christmas day pictures, because we were busy. We woke up and opened presents then headed to church. Here's a picture of the kids in their pajamas from Grandma Linda on Christmas Eve.

...I'm Going There Someday
Last night Robert and I were able to take Linda to the temple for her first time, to do baptisms and confirmations. It was such a special night. We're proud of Linda for making good choices and being worthy to enter the temple.
Linda had a smile on her face after each of the 7 baptisms she did. I couldn't help but think during her confirmations how lucky those waiting for their work to be done were for having such a pure young woman able to do their work for them.
Bruce and Linda go to the temple together tonight with the YM/YW in our ward. It's so neat that half or our children will be in the temple together. :)
The temple was even more beautiful last night because it is decorated for Christmas.
