Linda started swimming lessons back up twice a week. She's doing great.
Jane is a great defender and always follows directions exactly as she is told. She went to a clinic that Bruce's new competitive team was holding and afterwards the coach told Robert he'd like her to join the competitive team for that club. It should be a busy Fall with both Jane and Bruce playing competitively. .
Claire also likes her soccer team. When she isn't picking flowers or talking to her friends she's pretty aggressive. :) It's fun to watch her team. (team picture coming on Thursday)

Baptism Pictures...FINALLY
I was finally able to get Linda's baptism pictures taken this week. Here are my favorites. I think this first one is so beautiful. It looks like a painting.
This last one makes Linda and I laugh. The photographer told the kids to show how excited they were that Linda got baptized. Claire looks like she's clicking her heels together. :)

11 Year Anniversary
(the video is a little bright. At Last by Etta James is our song)
Today Robert and I celebrate being married for eleven years! I went through the temple the day before we were married in the San Diego temple. Then both families went to lunch at Mimi's. That night I had a bridal shower and Robert went out on the town with his friend. The morning of the wedding was pretty chaotic and everyone was rushing to get all of the last minute details completed. I remember walking in to the temple and seeing Robert in the foyer. From that moment on I was all smiles and we had the perfect day. The sealing was lovely. The reception was so beautiful in the Fallbrook rose garden. The next day we were off to Manhattan to honeymoon for a week.
11 years, 4 children, 2 states, 4 cities, and 4 jobs later, we are still going strong.

Happy Easter!!
We had a nice Easter this year.
The day before Easter the kids happened to find out about an Easter egg hunt at McDonalds, and nothing says Easter like McDonalds. :)
The kids were up at 6:30 on Easter morning to run out to find their Easter buckets. The Easter Bunny left them some candy and some Easter dresses and Bruce got a suit(which was a bit to small). Apparently the Easter Bunny hadn't noticed how much Bruce has grown lately.
Our church service was very nice and the kids sang a few songs during our sacrament meeting.
Later in the afternoon we headed up to Grandma and Grandpa Thompson's house for dinner.

Sisters are the Best
Bruce came home from the Pinewood Derby a little sad because his car didn't do as well as he'd have liked it to. When he went to bed Linda asked if she could stay up and make him something. The other girls followed her example and they took turns delivering letters to Bruce in his bed. It really cheered him up and he was a happy boy again. Linda is always so thoughtful and I'm grateful for her example to the other girls and to Bruce. Some people say, "Poor Bruce, surrounded by all of those girls." I tend to think that he is a pretty lucky boy.
Linda's letters.
Linda's letters.
Jane's drawing for him. She also offered him a stamp and a nickle. :)
Claire worked hard on her picture. I couldn't get it to load on the computer, but you can see it to the left here. She couldn't find a green crayon so she put her green flip flop on the picture to represent grass. Always thinking. :)
Pinewood Derby
Bruce continues to love going to Cub Scouts. His leaders are great. He had his Blue and Gold dinner last month. He did great on his skit. I wish I had remembered my camera. The decor was awesome and it was a great time.
Last night Bruce had his 2nd Pinewood Derby. Here's the car.
Here are a few more pictures.
