Sea World - Jane's Choice

Jane's choice for her birthday destination was Sea World. I must say that I love living right in the middle of everything. In less than an hour we can be so many great places. (Sea World, Disneyland, Knotts, Planet Hollywood, etc.) Jane and I headed out to Sea World yesterday morning. We were there when it opened at 9am and left around 7:20pm. There is so much to do and see there. It was wonderful for Jane to have a day to herself. Being child #3, she doesn't always get a lot of one on one time. We had a fabulous time, and we were worn out by the end of the day. We did everything there was to do there. Jane kept checking the map to make sure we didn't miss a thing.
Those are real penguins behind her.

The Sky Coaster ride went over Mission Bay. It was pretty awesome, and Jane and I were both a little nervous. She said, "I don't want to do this ride again."
We came home and had cake and ice cream. The perfect ending to her day.
Here she is with a couple of her presents. A bean bag and her doggie pillow pet.

Jane's 5th Birthday

It's Jane's 5th birthday today! She was born at 6:35pm in Palm Springs, CA.
She has always been so lovely, inside and out. Jane is a great combination of sweet and sassy.
We love you Jane. You're our sunshine.

Bruce's Baptism

Bruce was baptised a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints last night, on his 8th birthday. It was so beautiful. It was so wonderful to have our friends and family there to support Bruce and our family on this special occasion. Bruce was so happy. We are so proud of the wonderful boy he is. He is a good example and has such a good spirit about him. It seems like not long ago we welcomed this beautiful boy in to this world and now, 8yrs. later he has taken this important step on his journey back to our Heavenly Father. It was such a happy day and I know it was a happy day in heaven for our loved ones who have passed on before us.

Knotts

This year Robert and I decided that for the kids birthdays, they could pick one place they'd love to go and Robert or myself would take them. Bruce chose Knott's Berry Farm. We went yesterday, and invited Grandma Linda to go with us. We had a great time. It was nice to have some time just to have fun. Here are some pictures from the day...

We stopped for a rest and had lunch. Bruce had an enormous hot dog!
He was worn out by the end of the day. This was the HUGE line for the rafts.

Just my tweet again

First night of English muffin pizzas today. Can’t believe we haven’t tried this before.

Disturbance in the neighborhood at midnight. I called the police and paid for the whole incident by being absolutely tired today.

We’ve been trying to get rid of these wasps living in our roof. I guess others are experiences the same thing with lots of wasps. I sprayed the whole can of Raid the last two days. We’ll see how today turns out.

Getting ready for a crazy couple of weeks with PRIDE classes, soccer, two birthdays, baby blessing and baptism. Then forward to back-to-school.

Looks like the federal government is once again kicked the can on entitlement programs. Bummer. Ran downstairs at 9:06am to see what Rush’s take was.

Steve Miller just adopted. That makes 4 of the 7 seminary kids in my senior class who have adopted children (Steve, Danny, Shelby, Myndi). One in the process (Robert), two unknown (Steve, Trisha). Found it interesting.

Still doing well on my 401k this year despite the market crashing. I just put about 75% of my money back in for tomorrow. COME ON BIG MONEY!!!

Here at work we started the foreclosure process on several homes. We’ll see how SBA comes out. Just got a $4.5 million home in New York…beautiful mansion.

Health – My tailbone freakin hurts!!!...I get laughed at in church for taking my florescent seat cushion but I don’t care, it helps. KaDee is doing much better with her iron for her anemia, new found energy. Bruce couldn’t walk after the wedding (running in church shoes), doing much better since. Linda is healthy. Jane is doing very well with her arthritis. Claire has stomach pains because she eats way too much food.

Did twitter for a few days. Not much into anymore. Maybe if I had followers and a smartphone.
