Family Update

Well, we did it! We made it through a month and a half of living with family and have now been in our new place for 4 days now. We really like it here so far. It's certainly much smaller than our last place but I think that is going to prove to be a great thing. We love how close we are to everything now. We have any store or restaurant we could need, just around the corner.  We've met a couple of neighbors who seem to be really nice. The kids are so happy to have their beds and all of their things back. The kids were so good during our time in Palm Desert and Fallbrook. I was so proud of them for being so good.

Robert is now the building maintenance coordinator at church. He's looking forward to coaching Claire's soccer team and Jane's soccer team very soon. That should keep his evenings busy. He was able to take time off and have 2 day work weeks for the time we were living in Fallbrook. He's back to his long weeks. Claire and I are missing him.

I am still Young Women's president. We just had our New Beginnings program which was really nice. I enjoy working with the girls and the other leaders. I'm learning so much.

Bruce  seems the happiest about the new house and loves the set up in his new room. He's also excited that his friend lives just two houses up the street!  He just joined Chess club at school and really loves it. Still liking Cub Scouts.

Linda is excited about speech. She saw how much Bruce enjoyed it when he was in it. She enjoys going to activity days at church. She loves design and wants to learn to sew. She draws dresses and different articles of clothing and her friends at school buy them with fake money. We're trying to find a tennis class for her to start. She is going to sing in our ward talent show.

Jane excels in school. Her teacher is very impressed with her all around. She gets a lot of reading awards.  No injuries to report at this time. She really loved doing gymnastics camp with the kids while we were in the desert. She's excited to start soccer.

Claire is busy, busy. Robert and I are always getting a good laugh from her crazy ways. She says the funniest things. Lately, when I tell her something she'll say, "Yes, master!" Claire and I are working on her numbers and letters. I've been really enjoying my days with her because she'll start kindergarten in the Fall. I'll miss her so much.
