Here is a picture of the home we will move in to on Feb. 1st. We are ready to get back in to our own place. The kids will love opening up all of our boxes and reclaiming their toys and things. We are really happy to downsize our home, which also means downsizing cleaning time and the amount of money we'll need to furnish it. It's a cute beachy house. It's 4 bedrooms and 2 baths. It's right around the corner from a freeway exit, which it's really helpful with Robert's commute. It's also very close to any store we could need, and of course, not far from the beach. It has a big flag pole out in the front, as you can see. My Grandpa Nielson would be so proud. :)

Just What I Needed
I found this letter to me in Bruce's backpack that he wrote for me at school.
It was just what I needed to get me through this final stetch before we move in to our new place. He is such a sweet kid.

Christmas Morning
The kids had a very merry Christmas. They must have been really good this year because they scored with Santa. Their toys have been packed for nearly a month so they were really excited to have toys and electronics to play with again.
On another note, I really need a good camera. The camera on my phone is just not cutting it anymore.

Christmas Eve
We made it out to Palm Desert last Saturday. We're so grateful that my mom and sister are willing to share their home with us for a couple of weeks.
On the 23rd we had an early Christmas Eve celebration with my mom, Gregg & fam, and Suzanne & fam. We had a great dinner and lesson by my mom. Then all of the grand kids got to open their Christmas pajamas.
The kids had fun playing at Grandma's house. We also went over to Aunt Suzanne's gymnastics school and had a lot of fun.

Moving...
We've been busy around here! Packing, cleaning, looking for homes, the kids school work, entertaining Claire, Cub Scouts, Soccer, Activity Days, our church callings, Dr. & Orthodontist appointments, the landlord doing walk throughs of our home, Christmas shopping.....well, you get the point.
We haven't had TV for over a week now and that wouldn't be so bad if every single toy wasn't packed, along with the computer, board games, the wii, and all but a couple of books. But, we're all hanging in there and we're managing to stay entertained.
We leave for my mom's on the 22nd. We'll stay with her for 2 weeks while the kids have their Christmas break at school. Robert will commute to work from there. After that we'll head to my in-law's house for a few weeks. During this time we hope to secure a place to live. We'll also try to live life as usual here in Oceanside as far as school, sports, and church go. Should be interesting.
We've looked all over Carlsbad and Oceanside and we're trying to weigh all of our options to decide what is best for us all around. It's a little stressful not knowing that we have a home to move in to at the end of all of this, but we've definitely been through tougher situations and the Lord always provides a way when the time is right, and like I told the kids, As long as we're all together things will always be okay."
Here's to another adventure together! Can't wait to find out the conclusion of this one. :)
