4th of July

We had a really relaxed 4th of July weekend. The Saturday before we went to Chino, CA to celebrate with some of Robert's family. The kids had fun swimming and they always love to go there because fireworks are legal in Chino.

Monday the 4th we went to a movie. On the way to fireworks Claire fell asleep in the car and everyone but Jane was tired so we just called it a night and relaxed at home. :)

Our Week in Vegas

We were able to visit the Davis family for a week. Robert had to stay home and work. :( 

It was SO HOT but we had a lot of fun.

The girls always love playing with the dog. We visited Ikea, a chocolate factory, the swimming pool, splash pads, and more.

We also had fun playing games and watching movies.

Milestone

Linda lost her last baby tooth last week. 

The last time the tooth fairy will visit her. It makes me a little sad.

Crazy First Week of Summer

The day after the kids got out of school, Robert and I headed to San Jose, CA. We went to watch Argentina vs. Chile in the Copa America. We had such a great time. I went to San Francisco for the first time and really loved it. It's a really unique city. Here are some pictures from out trip.

The day before we got home, Bruce headed off to his first Scout Camp at Fiesta Island near San Diego. He had so much fun earning merit badges and hanging out with his friends. He was so tired when he got home! :)

Linda headed home with my mom and sister for a week in Palm Desert. She had so much fun playing with her cousins and helping at Irene's birthday party.

The little girls stayed home and we had our own fun.

They also helped us pick out a new car since ours broke down while we were out of town.

End of School Year Events

Claire finished up the 2nd grade with a Buggy Bug play at school. 

She sang the Buggy Hymn of the Republic. :)

Linda finished her first year in middle school with great grades and earned an academic award.
We're so proud of her.

 Bruce completed 7th grade. He got a PE award, academics, and also an award for reading the most words in the entire school.

Jane is all done with 4th grade! She did so well and really loved it. Her end of the year play was Goldrush. She was in one of the leading roles.

Spring Break

We are sad to have Spring Break come to an end. Monday we spent the day in Puerto Nuevo and Rosarito, Mexico. It was fun for the kids to try lobster and each pick something out at the many little shops. Tuesday was Robert and I's 14th wedding anniversary we went to lunch and then had ice cream sandwiches that night to celebrate with the kids. Wednesday through Sunday morning the kids and I spent in Palm Desert with Suzanne's family and my mom. Jill's family came up on Saturday and the adults went out for Suzanne's 40th birthday.
