Speech Graduate #3

Jane was able to graduate from Speech this morning. She was really excited to graduate, because her teacher gives homemade cookies to each graduate. :) But, she is going to miss going very much. She's worked so hard. Go Jane! Thompson Tuesday at speech is down another Thompson. Good thing Claire still goes to represent. :)

Bruce's Awards

Well, this morning started off with an award's ceremony at Bruce's middle school. Bruce received 3 medals. One for his 4.0 GPA, one for being a peer mentor in Science, and one for PE. We're very proud of him. He's a great kid.

Check Up

Claire had  a well-check with the Pediatrician. She hasn't seen the Dr. in a long time. She's a pretty healthy kid. Here are the stats for my 6 1/2yr. old.

Height: 47"    50th percentile

Weight: 48lbs.   50th percentile

BMI: 49th percentile

Mini-Vacation

My nephew, Brodey, was at a wrestling tournament in LA a few weeks ago so we decided to make a mini-vacation of it. We watched Brodey wrestle, swam at our hotel, went to Downtown Disney, shopped at the Honda Center Ducks store, and visited Corona Del Mar beach. It was a much needed getaway and we had a lot of fun.

Speech Graduate #2

Linda graduated from her Speech class this morning! I'm so proud of her. When I met with her teacher last year she was really concerned that Linda sounded much younger than she actually was. Everyone used to ask Linda where she had an accent from. Now, you'd never know that she ever had an articulation problem. She has loved her Speech teacher, Mrs. Smith. Good job, Linda!

Basketball

Bruce is having a great basketball season. His team has only lost once. 
He really likes playing.
