Road Trip: Monday

We arrived in SLC on Sunday night. The next morning we went out on the town with my Aunt Carole. She had a list of about 10 different places to go. She jumped in the car with us and off we went. Places we went to that day include tours of:
Mrs. Fields factory
Sweets Candy Factory
LDS Humanitarian Center
& Mrs. Cavanaugh Chocolates

We also went to lunch, two church book stores, and the Lion King 3D, and made little turkeys for the Thanksgiving table. Busy day!! Here are some pictures.

Grandma Naef

Robert's grandmother passed away today, on her 88th birthday. I remember meeting Grandma Naef for the first time. She was very kind and generous. I really admired her. She was such a strong, capable, righteous woman. Robert was very close to her. She fought a long battle with Alzheimer's. She will be missed.
She is pictured here with Jane when she was younger.

Road Trip!

I had really been feeling like we needed a family vacation. So, we decided to road trip to Utah for Thanksgiving week. We had a great time. The kids did really well on the long car ride. We had a lot of fun. We stayed with my Aunt Carole for 3 nights and my Uncle JB for 3 nights. We created wonderful memories and were able to spend a lot of time together. I'll put some posts up from our trip throughout this week.

Linda's Parties (Tooele, SLC)

Linda had a great birthday in Utah, while we were there on Thanksgiving vacation. When she walked upstairs at my Aunt Carole's house she found this sign. She was excited.
We drove out to Tooele, UT later that day to see David, Jennifer and Grandma and Grandpa Thompson who were there visiting. We had a pool party at Grandma and Grandpa's hotel.
Personalized Scriptures from Robert and I
Art set and Rapunzel Barbie from Grandma and Grandpa.

When we got back to SLC later that evening, the Davis family had arrived and Aunt Carole had made Linda a birthday cake.

Halloween 2011!

We spent our Halloween trick-or-treating with my brother's girls. Here is a picture of all of the kids before we headed out. (Gwynn was not in pic) Gregg's girls are the witches.
Bruce and Linda wore different costumes than they wore to the party on Sat.
Bruce was a skeleton and Linda was a lady bug.
Here's a pic of us and the neighborhood trick or treaters.
All of the kids at the end of the night, with their candy.
